About Me
Hi, I'm Trina Lemke, owner and operator of Trina Lemke's Childcare (TLC). I am a loving mother of two adult children, a dedicated friend, and business woman.
After working as a para-educator and satellite lead for the Highline School District, I decided to open TLC as a home-based childcare facility. I've been in business since 2008.
I love supporting children in their everyday learning and helping them achieve independence. The excitement in their eyes when they accomplish something is a huge gift.
What Parents are Saying
"Words cannot express my thanks and gratitude to Trina. I enrolled my son at TLC when he was just 5-months old (in 2019)—he is almost 3-years old and I wouldn’t change a thing! She has helped with his reading of sight words, he eats well daily, and is always clean when I pick him up. I have truly been blessed to have her as a childcare provider and a teacher—the kids are taught to be polite and respectful to one another and to adults as well. I have loved watching my son progress throughout this time and I would certainly recommend anyone seeking at-home daycare to bring their child to Trina!" Elicia

"I found Trina when my twins were 4 months old, and I had just returned to work. Leaving my children at the previous daycare filled me with dread and concern so I sought out another provider to care for my children, and I count my blessings when I came across Trina Lemke’s Childcare. Trina’s daycare was full of light and her energy was a breath of fresh air. It quickly became obvious to me that Trina was more than qualified; she was knowledgeable and kind, I knew my children were safe, and she took the time to get to know me and my children. Trina became family throughout the years and my children excelled in her care. Trina helped us achieve developmental milestones including potty training, and she offered me encouragement and support when parenting as a single mom of twins was incredibly difficult. Trina worked with the girls academically teaching them letters and numbers, and I was more than confident when they entered Kindergarten ahead of the curve." Lindsay
